Coconut LLC ("Coconut") warranty obligations for the Coconut product you have just purchased (the "Product") are limited to the terms set forth in this document. Coconut warrants the Product against defects in workmanship for a period of 3 months from the date of original purchase ("Warranty Period") when the Product is purchased through our online store or an authorized reseller. If a defect arises and a valid claim is received by Coconut within the Warranty Period, at its option, Coconut will make efforts to repair the Product or exchange the Product with a functionally equivalent new product. Coconut warrants repaired Products and replacement products provided hereunder against defects in workmanship from the date of the repair or replacement for ninety (90) days. If the Product is exchanged, the replacement product becomes your property and the Product becomes Coconut’s property. When a refund is given, the Product becomes Coconut’s property.
Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty extends only to the original purchasers who acquire new product from Coconut, its subsidiaries, or its authorized resellers. Any product, part, or component must have been used according to Coconut’s published instructions. If these requirements are met, warranty coverage will be extended. Any misuse, abuse, or modification to the original product voids the warranty. Coconut does not warrant the performance of the product when used in combination with anything other than the original Coconut product. The warranty does not apply to any non-Coconut product, even if packaged or sold with the Product. This warranty applies only to the normal use of the Product, in accordance with written use instructions, if any, provided with the Product (either in writing or through a hyperlink to such instructions).
Coconut does not warrant:
- normal wear & tear
- the matching color, grain, texture, etc. of natural materials
- the colorfastness or the matching of colors of materials, including an exact match to cuttings, samples, or to swatch cards
- damage, marking, or staining of veneer surfaces due to contact with rubber or similar compounds; damage from sharp objects or imprinting from writing instruments, or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight
- products exposed to extreme environmental conditions or that have been subject to improper storage
- rubber application and cutting – it may not always be perfectly cut around the shape of the blade and this is due to the fact that we are hand cutting the rubber ourselves
- each paddle is branded by hand with Coconut logos – the individual brand marks may not always be perfect
No Other Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, this warranty and the remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied. Coconut specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. If Coconut cannot lawfully disclaim or exclude implied warranties under applicable law, then to the extent possible any claims under such implied warranties shall expire on expiration of the warranty period. No Coconut reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coconut is not responsible for direct, or for special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including without limitation any costs of replacing personal property.
For consumers who have the benefit of consumer protection laws or regulations in their country of purchase or, if different, their country of residence, that cannot be disclaimed as set forth above ("consumer laws"), the benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies conveyed by such consumer laws. To the extent that liability under such consumer laws may be limited, Coconut’s liability is limited, at its sole option, to replacement or repair of the product.
In the event of a manufacturing quality issue during the warranty period of purchasing a Coconut product please notify us by sending your purchase invoice, a detailed description of any issues with your Coconut product, and high-quality photos (taken in adequate lighting) immediately to email@example.com.
